Falmouth Classics 2021 will be remembered for good sailing, some splendid summer weather and great camaraderie. Despite the early fears of a curtailed event as a result of COVID-19, consequent government restrictions and the impact of the G7 meeting, the enthusiasm from boat owners and crews resulted in 153 boats entering and a socially distanced party atmosphere on the Haven. Many of the changes forced on us by the restrictions now seem, like many changes brought about by lockdown, a better way of doing things that may outlast the immediate requirements.
