The Classics 2023 will take place from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th June.

Please note: Events throughout the weekend are subject to change.

Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th June

12.00 – 16.30 Registration. Collection of welcome packs and merchandise from Windjammer

Thursday 15th June

From 11.00 Booked alongside berths, moorings and anchorage available

12.00 – 16.30 Registration, collection of welcome packs and merchandise from the Windjammer

18.30 – Haven Reception – a pint, a pasty and a shanty band

Friday 16th June

09.00 – 12.00 Registration, collection of welcome packs and merchandise from the Windjammer

10.00 Classics Maritime village opens and Shanty Festival gets underway

11.30 Race 1 First Start – Carrick Roads

14.00 Race 2 First Start – Carrick Roads

18.30 Welcome Reception – National Maritime Museum Cornwall

Saturday 17th June

09.00 – 10.00 Daily entry and registration at the Windjammer

09.00 – 10.30 Public viewing of boats alongside in the Haven

11.30 Race 3 First Start

16.00 – 18.00 Public viewing of boats alongside in the Haven

16.30 – 18.00 Rowing and sculling competition – Royal Cornwall Yacht Club

18.30 Prize giving for day races – Royal Cornwall Yacht Club

12.00 – 01.00 Shanty Festival

Sun 18th June

10.30 – 12.00 Parade of Sail and Power

13.30 – 14.30 Heather and Lay Steam and Small Boat Parade – Inner Harbour

15.00 Final prize giving – National Maritime Museum Cornwall

17.00 – 18.00 Closing ceremony for Sea Shanty Festival

Classic Parade of Sail and Power. The parade will enable spectators to see the full panoply of classic vessels gathered in Falmouth. The parade is only open to boats that have entered and completed registration.
