Berthing, Mooring, and Launching

Free Berthing, Mooring and Anchorage for 2021

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Falmouth Harbour Commissioners we are once again able to offer free alongside berths, swinging moorings and anchoring options for 2021 to registered competitors.  Owing to Covid 19 we anticipate that, although the west pontoon has been extended, pontoon capacity will probably be reduced by a third and therefore more vessels will need to be on mooring or at anchor in the inner harbour. Allocations will be made on a “first come – first served” basis according to the preferences indicated when completing your entry form and availability. It is unlikely that we will be able to offer alongside berths or swinging moorings after 30th May 2020. We will notify you of your berth allocation by May 31st.

To reduce the use of the Haven amenities, a pump out facility has been installed on North Quay for use in 2021.

Please see http://www.falmouthhaven.co.uk/ for further information on the facilities available.

Berthing instructions will be available to download on the Forms and Downloads page soon.

Launching and Lift-out

For Falmouth Classics 2021, if you are trailering your boat down to Falmouth you can use the facilities of:

  • Falmouth Boatyard (situated on the waterside of the Falmouth Park and Float Car Park at Ponsharden). They are able to launch, step and un-step masts, and lift-out. Contact Graham Inard 07909882891 or email boatyard@rustleryachts.com.
  • Mylor Yacht Harbour Tel:01326 372121
  • Freemans Wharf, Penryn 01326 377509
  • Falmouth Haven Tel 01326 310990 (the slip owned by the latter at Grove Place is only suitable for slipping using your own trailer as they do not have facilities for launching or stepping masts).
