After the event
Racing at this years Falmouth Classics Regatta 2026 was a celebration of traditional sailing at its finest. Against the stunning backdrop of Carrick Roads and Falmouth Bay, the fleet of classic yachts, gaff-rigged vessels and historic working boats, competed in three races over two days.
We are looking forward to fair weather for the Falmouth Classics Regatta 2026, some may remember the somewhat damp conditions during racing on the Friday last year, but the weather failed to dampen the enthusiasm and despite the rain all enjoyed some great racing. This year’s event promises to be an exciting and congenial three days of racing, parades and on shore entertainment.
Falmouth Classics Regatta 2026 planning is well underway, reshaping the Event to ensure everyone has a great time. Wishing for the best of weather we are really looking forward to seeing friends old and new.
Another very enjoyable Classics with great racing conditions on Saturday and a spectacular parade for both spectators and participants on Sunday.
We wish all current and soon to be participants a good passage to Falmouth and fair winds and good weather for the 2025 Falmouth classics Regatta.
The sailing season will soon be with us and Falmouth Classics Regatta 2025 is not far off. The Classics Crew are looking forward to seeing friends old and new.
The Classics team and I feel that the 2024 Falmouth Classics was a success despite the significant difficulties the weather gave us particularly on Friday afternoon.
Currently, entries total almost 100 with most entering to race and it will probably be a matter of days before all of the alongside berths in the Haven are filled.
With the days gradually getting longer, we are all starting to look forward to getting back on the water.
