Juanita was built by Jacketts of Falmouth in 1896 as a quay punt. She was converted to a yacht soon afterwards and had a counter stern added along with a cabin.

Owned for many years by the pioneering yachtswoman and writer Dulcie Kennard during which time she featured in Maurice Griffiths ‘Magic of the Swatchways.’

Converted to a working boat in the 1970’s in St Mawes she raced locally before heading up to the East Coast for 40 years. Juanita is now back in home waters and racing with the Working Boats.
