Built on the Thames in 1920 and used on the river until she was moved to Windermere in the early 1970 where a substantial rebuild was completed. Moved down to the Tamar Valley in 2010 since then it has been steamed continually across many rivers and estuaries across the south west and further afield.
Halcyon has won several event awards including the Thames Traditional Boat Festival, Plymouth Classics and the Dartmouth Royal Regatta. In 2019 Halcyon was filmed for the Channel 4 program Devon and Cornwall while attending Dartmouth.
