Evelyn

Built in 1898 by Hitchens, the fastest working boat that he built. She was built at Yard Point for Thomas and James Hitchens of Feock and was registered for nets lines and crabbing. She was named after James’ daughter. She was sold way from Falmouth in 1935 and converted to a cruiser returning to Flushing in 1965 when she was converted back to a work boat. Now owned by a syndicate.
