Built in Denmark in 1908, Annette fished the North Sea and Arctic Ocean under sail from until 1984. She was one of the last Danish Seiners (and the smallest) to be fitted with an engine and wheel house. She was re-launched in Jegindo, Denmark in 1986 and then worked as a Baltic cruiser until 1995. Then she sailed round Britain – based in Salford until 2005 when she became our home and in 2017 mothership to Clean Ocean Sailing. She now works very hard collecting and transporting tons of beach found plastic rubbish.
