Built by Thomas Jackett in Falmouth in 1912, Curlew was originally a Falmouth Quay Punt employed in servicing the many seagoing vessels that visited Falmouth. She carries her original sail and spar plan, which enabled quay punts to go alongside square rigged ships below their yards.
