Built in Rowhedge in 1901, she spent until 1948 dredging for oysters in the Thames estuary. In 1949 our friends bought her and took her to Milford Haven, where she was the ‘flagship’ for Thorne Island, an old Napoleonic fort which they bought and ran as a small hotel. She was entrusted to us in 2017, just before our friend died. We sailed her home to Falmouth in the Spring of 2018.
