The Cause

A Maurice Griffiths Tidewater built by Tyrrels of Arklow, Eire in 1963, by an Irish family (hence her mysterious name) and registered in Beaumaris, but latterly moored on the Tamar at Holes Hole, where I often admired her as a fine cruiser; and finally acquired her c. 2004.

In retirement she’s moved with me to the Exe, where her typical Griffiths shallow draft is a real boon, and enjoy ‘West Country Cruising’.
