Commissioned by Peter Shand-Kydd and launched in 1972, she was then owned by a Dutch chap and cruised extensively until being brought back to the UK to Dartmouth and extensively refitted in 2009. The present owner bought her in 2018 and attended her first Channel Regatta in 2019. Covid has been challenging but Sarabande (nickname Saraboo) managed a holiday to the Scillies, Falmouth Classics and Dartmouth Regatta.
