Annette

Annette was built Jegindo, Denmark in 1908. She fished the North Sea and Arctic Ocean engineless until 1985. Her rig was reduced and a wheel house and engine fitted in Denmark in 1986. She is by far the heaviest 47 foot wooden boat I know of, at 55 tons. She now works very hard as the mothership to Clean Ocean Sailing taking volunteers to sea to remove plastic rubbish from our coast and ocean.
