A Falmouth Classics Maritime Village is a new development introduced in the 30th anniversary year to show case traditional marine crafts and associated retail exhibitors.
The twelve pitches will be based on the East Quay, in close proximity to one of the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival performance areas and shop. Custom House Quay will see a heavy footfall over the three days.
In 2016 Falmouth Classics attracted 174 entries and 500 crew whilst it was estimated 40,000 people visited Falmouth to listen to the sixty bands and watch the on the water event. Falmouth Classics is the largest event of its kind in the South West and probably one of the largest in the UK.
Visiting vessels will be berthed free of charge in the Falmouth Haven, just a stone’s throw from the Village site.
Rent of 4×4 metre pitch in the village is £150 for the three days. Exhibitors will need to provide their own commercial standard event tents/gazebos, which will need to have weights All exhibitors will require public liability and stock and equipment insurance and will be required to undertake a site risk assessment. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider take away food and drink outlets.
