Falmouth Harbour is a Trust Port with statutory duties and powers. Our purpose is to maintain an organisation of quality and excellence to safely manage Falmouth Harbour in order to facilitate sustainable prosperity for the Port to the benefit of the users of the Harbour and the wider community.
Falmouth Harbour Commissioners are a statutory port authority with responsibility for the Inner Harbour at Falmouth (excluding Falmouth Docks), the Penryn River up as far as Coastlines Wharf, the southern part of the Carrick Roads and a large part of Falmouth Bay.

Formed in 1871 we continue a long tradition of offering hospitality to visiting yachtsmen and yachtswomen and will extend a warm welcome should you wish to visit us.

JH & M Choak have forged a reputation for making mouthwateringly tasty Cornish pasties. Handmade to a traditional recipe by a proper Cornishman, a Choaks pasty is quite possibly the tastiest pasty you’ll ever munch — just ask the locals.

Dynamite Valley, found in the heart of Cornwall, gives its name to this award-winning brewery tucked away under Ponsanooth’s viaduct.
Established in 2015 by two local brewers, Dynamite Valley Brewery gathered no less than five prestigious awards in 2019 for its fine Cornish ales, available in cask and unique hand-wrapped bottles.
This ‘ansum produce can now be found all across Cornwall and the UK in pubs, restaurants, bottle shops and bars. Dynamite Valley ales are also vegan friendly.
Petrel Rum is a small batch botanical rum; fermented, distilled and barrelled on the Cornish coast. It is traditionally distilled in a copper Alembic still with a modern twist of home-grown Rosemary, Maple and Oak.
After 5 years of testing and tasting, I am so excited to share my botanical rum to the world.
It is a rum dedicated to the wild Cornish coasts and their native seabird, the Storm Petrel – The last bird home from the storm.
Falmouth Art Gallery has a vibrant exhibition and event programme. We change exhibitions regularly and hang works from our permanent collection alongside major museum loans, work from local artists, community groups, school children and students. Our events cater for all ages, from babies upwards. There will be something for everyone.
Our art collection is large and eclectic for a small museum. The works are rotated regularly in our entrance and main galleries and we work to variety of themes.
The staircase gallery is used for community displays. Groups such as Falcare, Age Concern, local schools and Falmouth University visit on a regular basis and create art in response to current exhibitions.
Our limelight wall within the entrance gallery, is open to all aspiring and professional artists. To achieve a dynamic turnaround the space is changed weekly.
