Launched in 1992 at Golant on the River Fowey, Mary Ritchie was built by John Fuge, Peter Williams and Ted Luck to a 1970s design by Roger Dongray. The design was influenced by the Falmouth Quay Punts and working boats. Traditionally constructed of pitch pine on oak, she has been in the same ownership for 27 years. Originally based on the River Crouch she has been moored on the Helford since 2013 and is a regular Falmouth Classics participant.
