Free Berthing and Mooring for 2018
**Alongside berths in Pendennis Marina and the Yacht Haven are full, but we can still offer a few swinging moorings and plenty of space to anchor just off the Haven**
Thanks to the help of Falmouth Harbour Commissioners and subject to sufficient sponsorship, we are taking over the outer sections of Falmouth Haven as a dedicated area for Falmouth Classics competitors. We are once again offering free alongside berths, swinging moorings and anchoring options for 2018 registered competitors. Allocations will be made on a “first come – first served” basis according to the preferences indicated when completing your entry form. It is unlikely that we will be able to offer alongside berths or swinging moorings after 30th May 2018. Unless notified, your berth requirement will have been reserved at entry.
Please see http://www.falmouthhaven.co.uk/ for further information on the facilities available.
Berthing instructions will be available to download on the Forms and Downloads page soon.
Launching and Lift-out
For Falmouth Classics 2018, if you are trailering your boat down to Falmouth you can use the facilities of Falmouth Boatyard (situated on the waterside of the Falmouth Park and Float Car Park at Ponsharden). They are able to launch, step and un-step masts, and lift-out. Contact Graham Inard 07909882891 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Alternatives are Mylor Yacht Harbour Tel:01326 372121 or Freemans Wharf, Penryn 01326 377509 or Falmouth Haven Tel 01326 310990 (the slip owned by the latter at the Falmouth Watersports Centre is only suitable for slipping using your own trailer as they do not have facilities for launching or stepping masts).
